I stumbled upon this issue on github:

But I didn't know or expect Kbin users can see what Lemmy users upvote or downvote their post. Is this indeed what Kbin users can do?

Every instance of lemmy and every server that speaks the same protocol knows who up/down voted any post. Your votes are public information.
