Legit bought a big ass bag of cat food, brought it home, tried the mixing thing, cat ate the old food, leaving the new one out. Tried only giving him the new food, he gave it a whiff and walked away. He just would not eat the new food. Had to buy another brand. Brought it home and bro lapped it up like normal.

Also, funny thing: that bag of cat food smells like tuna, the treat soup thing I bought him smells like tuna, canned tuna smells like tuna. Tuna smells like tuna. He absolutely hated all four. Lol my cat hates tuna

My cat will only eat those pate things. And not just any pate, the cheapest ones. And some salami, but only if i cut up thin stripes.
