Here guys, in case anyone actually wants to read about the humans rights abuses in China instead of whatever garbage OP posted: https://news.un.org/en/story/2022/08/1125932

China deradicalisation bad

Murican torture good

Not sure where in posting a link about China’s massive, well-documented genocide did I say anything about my position on Guantanamo, but keep going after those straw men, you’ll beat them one of these days.

[-] Blursty@lemmygrad.ml -1 points 1 year ago

The reason why it's the worst documented genocide in recorded history is because it never happened. It was a complete hoax, end to end. Even the US doesn't claim it anymore.

But anyway, this article is about America's extrajudicial Muslim torture camps.

[-] exscape@kbin.social 3 points 1 year ago

Why link to a Chinese site? Link to a US .gov site instead if you want to talk about the US position.

But anyway, this article is about America’s extrajudicial Muslim torture camps

Oh, then maybe you should delete this post and give it the correct title.

[-] Blursty@lemmygrad.ml -2 points 1 year ago

Too late now. The wheels are in motion. It would be unfair of me to waste all the effort people have already put in.

[-] bender@infosec.pub 1 points 1 year ago

Then I guess the people will just have to discuss the topic as written, and talk about China’s detention and torture of Muslims. Glad you’re bringing attention to it!

[-] Blursty@lemmygrad.ml 0 points 1 year ago

But there won't be anything to discuss about it, except maybe the complete lack of any credible evidence. We could discuss Sasquatch man instead I suppose, since there's far more evidence for him.

[-] bender@infosec.pub 1 points 1 year ago

Hey, you’re the one who made a thread about “nothing”, not me. Make a different thread if you want to people to discuss something else.

Another link on the topic for those interested: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uyghur_genocide

I think my favorite part is the “denials” section about social media trolls.

Oh my, lol, wikipedia!

My favourite part is the Talk page for some giggles.

You can find a thorough and complete takedown of this here. The sole source was allegations from the ASPI. That article was published on the last day of her term, resigning because of how politicised the role was. She notably didn't give her signature to the report.

Meanwhile the UN is not allowing itself to be used anymore on this issue.

[-] bender@infosec.pub 2 points 1 year ago

Not here for a debate OP, just here to post the information you promised and didn’t. As a bonus, I gave you a primary source instead of a propaganda rag!

I’m sure other people here enjoy arguing against someone with the IQ and demeanor of a brick wall, but if I wanted that, I’ve got four right here.

[-] Blursty@lemmygrad.ml -1 points 1 year ago

Not here for a debate

Sir, this is the internet.

You should understand that your report is not a primary source. It cites one single primary source, the ASPI, a propaganda rag.

[-] bender@infosec.pub 2 points 1 year ago

The official UN news site isn’t a primary source for UN statements on China’s genocide, you got me. I cede all of my points.

Sir, this is the internet.

Yeah, and the internet is for porn, not debating deluded people on the internet.

[-] Blursty@lemmygrad.ml -2 points 1 year ago

Looks like you're here for a debate after all! Porn and debate, together at last! The debunk gets everywhere.

You missed my posting above of a thorough discrediting of that report. Believing what you want to believe despite all the evidence (or the complete lack of) is definitively delusional.
