Just hit me here and itâs coming down hard.
SSE suburbs? Same here. Cerys is watching avidly, it so rarely hits our windows like this
Yep. Im close to Southland.
Power flickered a few times, hope it doesnât take it out or anything but the thunder just keeps on rumbling and crashing.
Yeah there's been a couple ground strikes on kingston and tucker rds, woops, that one was on park lol
Came in fast and heavy before though. Hitting my windows too and causing so much noise.
Itâs starting the lighten up now but the thunder and lightning keep on coming.
Yeah I've been watching it march across via the lightning tracker. That last big boy hit the saints ground
Oohh I just heard a big one. Any idea where that one might have hit?
Lt has gone apeshit, i think e boundary road? Just about shat meself, i'm on the south road end of chesty
Edit: massive fucker off centre road in east bentleigh. Warwick street. The sound crater map is huge
Iâm on near South and Warrigal road so not far from you at all.
Did also mean Tucker and Mckinnon road before?
Everything seems to have stopped now, rain and thunder.
Kingston road got hit earlier, as did tucker. https://www.lightningmaps.org/
I think tucker was the one that had the fire engines
That was crazy. The rain radar showed us getting hit with the highest colour rating they had.
Dark brown.
Your pet calmed down now?
Oh she never lost her shit, was just watching the water splashes in excitement. All three take their thunderstorm cues from me and i ain't fussed.
I thought highest bom was black?
Oohh thatâs lucky. Glad she had some fun watching and hearing it all.
Oh yeah. Youâre right. That is black at the end of the radar scale, which is the highest.
Well hopefully thatâll be the last of it for the rest of the night. I bet plenty of people got woken up by that.
