Those farmers are not like those in the books you read as a child, its a massive industrial complex which had never to face responsibility for the destruction they profit from. It is driven from the animal industry because they fear change which is necessary to ensure that we can grow food in the coming years and not have a barren wasteland.

Not really good. In Germany, farmers protest for upholding the status quo, that doesn't even benefit them. The status quo benefits industrialist, big supermarket chains like Rewe and Lidl, and big landowners.
