Interesting, there should be an argument made that old games and technology isnt readily available therefore Nintendo or others arnt actually loosing money on games they no longer produce. I would buy older games but unfortunately my snes is dying and im tired of fixing it, save state batteries are dead in games, and the price of the games has became ridiculous.
do video games eventually phase into public domain like literature? what about other media?
The video did mention something about public domain roms being legal but that puts a rom into public domain?
