Maybe not for you, but for some of us, we would help to look into Buddhism and its Four Noble Truths.

Very simplistic tl;dr is that

All life involves suffering.
We suffer because we want things to be other than the way they are.
We can become free from suffering if we no longer want things to be other than the way they are.
The Eightfold Path can lead one to reach 3.
