Actually most cheese (*read: aged cheese) are low in lactose because it's already been broken down by the commensal bacteria.
Unless you're a dirty poor and buy the cheap cheese from the dairy section of wall-mort.
I’m lactose intolerant and there’s plenty of cheese that’s high quality that will cause me 8hrs of pain. The dry cheeses typically have low lactose. Soft cheeses have more.
Ah, I was speaking about aged cheeses (≥ 1 year). Thought I put that in there, but... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
