The goal is to build a community for everyone who enjoys science fiction and related topics. This includes the obvious books, movies, and TV shows, but also original writing, the discussion of writing SF, futuristic art and designs, and the science and technologies that inspire the sci-fi genre. **Team Top 20**
“Star Bird” — A space ship that made noises when you changed its pitch. It could be put together into a couple of different configurations. It wasn’t tied to any tv show, movie, or comic book.
Micronauts — a time traveling group of futuristic translucent android action figures that had cool vehicles and accessories you could reconfigure like Lego. Some of these floated on water, others had shootable rubber-tipped missiles, and some could be put together to make giant robots. The best set to me was the one I couldn’t afford, but that a friend had. A Logan’s Run style tube train set propelled using a vacuum pump. There later was a comic book series that tried to explain their backstory.
ROM — a silver robot doll with red led eyes that made different noises depending on which of his accessories you attached. Also later had a comic book series that tried to explain it all.
