Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.
The rules are simple:
- The post can be a single image, an image gallery, or a link to a specific comic hosted on another site (the author's website, for instance).
- The comic must be a complete story.
- If it is an external link, it must be to a specific story, not to the root of the site.
- You may post comics from others or your own.
- If you are posting a comic of your own, a maximum of one per week is allowed (I know, your comics are great, but this rule helps avoid spam).
- The comic can be in any language, but if it's not in English, OP must include an English translation in the post's 'body' field (note: you don't need to select a specific language when posting a comic).
- Politeness.
- Adult content is not allowed. This community aims to be fun for people of all ages.

Thats actually a pretty interesting perspective. I found it since my personal instance had issues with federation and I‘m being served some old posts at times.
My personal view is about „potential“. We humans have the potential to traverse the galaxy and live on many worlds. Given the concept of the great filter, we will need to evolve quite a bit to do that.
But I also see potential in the other lifeforms on our planet. Human primacy isn’t my favorite concept. I get that it will be impossible to get everyone to be nice to each other. Yet I dont think hierarchical thinking in its current form is healthy or good.
One could argue that in this case bacteria need to be considered as well, which is much less feasible than preserving space and climate for species we can easily detect and understand.
My concept is pretty symplistic, yet far reaching. We should abandon the hierarchical idea of humans and other species. The „i’m better than this person“ or „humans are better than that species“ idea isnt helpful at all. Imo it only serves those without morals to justify their cruel deeds.
