Two climate activists on Tuesday targeted Botticelli’s masterpiece “The Birth of Venus” hanging at Florence’s Uffizi Gallery, attaching images of recent flood damage in the Tuscany region on the protective glass.

A few people installing a few PV panels isn't going to solve climate change. Change has to come from the top.

I meant it would be better than sticking some things to the protective glass in front of a damn painting. Staff pulled it all off within minutes. The "top" is not even going to actually notice that lol.

And yet here we are talking about it. Seems like it's had a bigger impact on the public than just installing panels would have.

No one actually "in charge" sees this thread. My PV panels example might have been poorly chosen.

The point is to get it in our minds so we all bother the people in charge. That's more effective than a few activists asking directly.
