Yes, and the countries helping Ukraine should be able to outspend Russia easily. Russia's economy is roughly the same size as Australia's, whereas the US, Germany, the UK and France are all bigger. The fact that we Russia is outspending us, reflect badly on us.
Thats a problem i have with the reporting on this. All the western nations bang on about so many millions($) spent in support, but how much materiel does that buy? We have the capacity to outspend, but will we deliver a decisively larger amount of materiel for that outspending?
I have seen an article comparing our spending on this war with Russian spending. We are somehow being out spent, but get much more bang for our buck than Russia. Winning this war would be easy with the right mindset.
