I really appreciate the two column layout of the app when using it on an iPad and I would really appreciate if the app could automatically play GIFs and videos that are hosted remotely, instead of just displaying their URL (see example in upper left corner).
I hope this is something you could consider for the further development of this nice app. Other than that - keep up the good work! Thanks!!

Just to provide an update on this, there is currently some draft work on implementing video playback which you can track in this PR: https://github.com/thunder-app/thunder/pull/1081
As for when this will be completed, I can’t say for sure but we are aware of this and are working on it!
