I have a new thing that helps me with ADHD to some extent: breathwork. I'm finding myself feeling really focused and clear-headed after doing dynamic and/or holotropic breathwork. The former involves saturating with oxygen then doing breath holds and the latter uses a 3-part mouth breath. I wasn't expecting that to have an effect on ADHD symptoms, but here we are. I just came back from a 45-minute breathwork session, and I can actually think. It's not 100%, of course, but it's noticeable. I just wish I didn't have to hyperventilate on the floor for an hour for my brain to start working, lol.

Oh that's really interesting, I'll have to give that a try. I am thinking it would pair well with mindfulness meditation

It absolutely does! I love meditating after breathwork.

As long as it works, it's alright.
