MODERATORS
The Yankees don’t want to sign Snell or Montgomery because of the luxury tax issues. If they need to be cheap, then it just makes sense to go get Trevor Bauer. I know the baggage that comes with him, but he was never convicted of a crime and we’ve hired people with sketchy pasts in the past.
I fucking hate Bauer but the one silver lining is if he comes to the Yankees he’ll get injured and be back to not playing in a very short amount of time.
Really hope the Yankees don’t go that way though 🤞
They don’t want to pay the 110% luxury tax on the big stars and I’m sure they’re looking at budget for Soto after the season. I don’t know what other options there are since they traded all their arms to get Soto.
