Cheap US based VPS hosting providers anybody? Can you go lower than ~15-20$ per month for 4GB/2CPU? Ionos looks good for 6$ but with 6 months commitment (fedit.pl)

https://www.hetzner.com/cloud/ has 4gb and 2 VCPus for 3, on shared arm instances, if im not missing something.

Or you can get a free iirc 28gb ram and 8cpus on Oracle cloud, but youll probably have to be patient and try it several times, since they have limited number of instances they provide. From what ive read, it takes a few days of trying here and there, if youre unlucky, or there are scripts that automate the attempts on github.

I just assumed from the name that Hetzner was Germany-based.

Oh, I've totally skimmed over that requirement. They are, but they do offer servers in the US region, if that's sufficient.
