To me, the internet is a place to advertise my inventions, not look at memes.
Funny story.
Meme was literally coined as the equivalent of a gene, but for an idea. That's exactly what current joke memes are. They fit extremely well into Richard Dawkins' original definition. So does you trying to get whatever your invention is into the public mind.
It's just another meme.

You shouldn’t look at social communities of people as tools like that. Thats the disconnect and why you’re getting a strong reaction.
