"shocked gasp" , me looking at book prices, 220 for a used copy of a specific book of history of philosophy, 70 for a piece of shit print on demand from india

nearly all the books I want are fucking priced like that.

😂 Truthfully I find history of philosophy books very interesting. It gives me new reference points to examine the world around me, I love reading about how other people think and I examine my own thought processes.

Clunes Booktown Festival is on next weekend. There are booksellers from all over the state with delightfully arcane goodies. Invariably not the specific title you're looking for, but there's always lots of interesting stuff to browse.
