Oh ok. It's not showing up on the list of local communities for me. I don't know enough about this kind of stuff though.
Ahh - now I see what you mean. It isn't showing up in local communities because it isn't a local community. That interpretation of "local" means "local to aussie.zone", not local to Australia. As the community lives on Quokk.au, it isn't local as far as Lemmy is concerned.
!melbourne@lemmy.world exists, for example - but it won't show up on local communities, because it lives on lemmy.world.
Oh I think I get it now. Thank you for clearing that up.
