Connect ipad to windows over usb (lemmy.world)

Hey, I am looking for a solution where I can use my ipad to take notes on my work pc. Due to a mandatory always on VPN solutions that use network to connect dont work, which leaves usb I guess.

I dont want to pay a subscription, but a one-off payment would be fine

Why can't you enable VPN on the iPad? Oh, are you saying it has to be wired to join and can't be on wifi? If so, I believe you can use an ethernet adapter. I don't know the models that would support this, but I confirmed they do exist.

work installed some software that blocks all internet acces unless its through their vpn. even local ips
