FOMO leads people to join a thing, thing turns out to be meh, people stop using the thing.
no matter what i try to do, the feed was just filled with corporate or famous content creators making stupid threads. i don't mind if there are lack of content to feed me if the feed is filled with only the people i follow but let me have an option to have that. even twitter has that option (until musk decides to nuke it too)
Apparently, they've added in a option to just view a regular timeline now.
But I imagine it's still going to be full of ads and an algorithm that's pushing shite at you.
Correction:
People join new thing, find out it's ran by a data farmer who already runs two bigger platforms, then stop using when they know this.
Who didn't know this though, considering it's linked to Instagram?
