Interesting article, but
Is wrong I think. I've been using Octoprint only for short time (before I moved to klipper and mainsail), but my Wyze cam (in web cam mode) and cheap Logitech web cam both worked fine.
Octoprint is amazing, but klipper+mainsail is perfect imo. It doesnt solve live streaming over youtube tho
You probably were just viewing it in the Wyze app unless you did a bunch of stuff -- I have a few old wyze cams and actually got one in RTSP mode and converted it to mjpeg once and it was pretty awful all around.

E: I acknowledge too that I need to move to Klipper -- it's definitely on the list .
Yeah I did change firmware to use it as regular USB web cam
I see -- I think I remember I got stuck at the chinese voice reboot loop on that one.
