I make my coffee in a clever dripper, but looking for a clear that really works. What does everyone use?

Citric acid granules. Looks like sugar, cheap as chips. Couple of spoons in the water tank then flush through with water several times. Descales nicely.

Good call, I use citric acid for most descaling
