It seems lemmygrad.ml is federating with them and I was just wondering if this instance will too. I used to browse r/chapotraphouse before reddit banned them and I didn't know the community was still alive in hexbear until recently. I'm sure a lot of leftists in this instance would also benefit from being able to browse hexbear contents

Hexbear published a small list of servers they intend to federate with, which included lemmygrad.ml, blahaj.zone, and lemmy.ml. It may have also included lemmy.world but I do not remember for sure.

Since lemmy.ml federates with Lemmygrad, I don't see any reason why the devs would block Hexbear.

ohh ok I was just confused because I thought lemmygrad and hexbear were already federated but I was mistaken.

I just checked the original hexbear announcement about the federation and it seems like it'll happen near the end of this week

It was supposed to happen before the end of this month but they've pushed it back to the 5th.
