There was an instance at lemmy.beyondcombustion.net in the first few months following the API exodus, but it went down at some point. I presume the admin lost interest/motivation.

That situation definitely disrupted the establishment/growth of an active vaporents community on Lemmy. I'm sure there are plenty of ents on Lemmy and I think communities about trees are nice for bringing people together, as opposed to some other communities on Lemmy (mostly political stuff) that can push us apart at times.

P.S. You have a slight typo; it's vaporizing, not vaporizering 😁
