It means what you're building fires a projectile. The instructions are warning you not to shoot your eye out.
Now I want a leg lamp.
That's what I figured out once I finished the set, at this point in the build you are not instructed to use the picture cards, but if you did, you could totally shoot them out if the "mouth" of the enclosure isn't latched.
