MODERATORS
New players are fun like that.
Not necessarily in that specific way, because anyone trying that is also likely to want attention in other ways.
But the enthusiasm is still good. If it gets channeled into good play as they learn, it's awesome :)
I am googling stuff all game every game.
But it's usually stuff like "what does flatfooted do" or "can I attack the enemy I attacked last turn if I'm blind" because I have no idea what's going on
It was definitely a pretty fun session
It was also pretty fun when the old timer players were like "He does that that a lot, trust me it's better than seeing him try to look things up"
I find I DM better riding by the seat of my pants than trying to strictly adhere to something
