As a conservative, I believe in:

Children getting more protection and less freedom than adults
Equal treatment of all under the law

This story is an outrage according to those values

If this story involving a 12 year old in Spain upsets you, I hope you’re also as upset at how many states in the US have an age of consent for sex as low as 13, no “culture” argument even needed:

If that were true that’s fucking horrible, but I don’t see what your point is?

All I said was the previous comment’s points contradict each other, and that the US has current laws that are also horrible.
