My gf wanted to watch all of Mad Max after we've seen Fallout. I was entirely unaware of 1979 movie and thought Road Warrior was the first one. My impressions are that it sucked.
Ha, yea the (actual) first film is different and basically an Australian 70s indie film. The mad max most know doesn't start until the second one.
