What does this mean? A single 18650 with 10 Wh can power 0.002 W continuously over 6 months. More than enough power to see light. But what would the point be? It is useless at that brightness.

It is useless at that brightness.

Absolutely not. I’m a sucker for ultra low brightness modes, as in fractions of a lumen. It’s great for dark adapted eyes. It’s more than enough to see and move around, doesn’t ruin your dark vision, and won’t wake someone up accidentally. Runtime is practically unlimited. Why waste battery if you don’t have to?

It easily lights up the corner of my room on the beside table where I keep it in case I lose power. You can read by it with good eyes in a dark enough room.

What happens if you lose power after it's dead from being on for 6 months?

Probably time to get some sleep!

I recharge it for a few hours twice a year and use one of dozen other lights in its place.

This light uses three 18650's.

Dim light on for long time but not plugged in

Literally that’s the appeal LOL, the enthusiast flashlight world is wild (speaking as one of them)

Huh, interesting.
