Maybe. We don't have a lot of details. I feel bad for any potential job loss.

There's a fantastic Flintstones comic by Mark Russell that is a more adult and heavy take so if the show was planning on taking inspiration from that then I'd be super happy.

On the other hand it could have just been another Family Guy inspired knock off. Or god forbid something like Velma.

According to what I heard the original Flintstones was adult to begin with. It was never a children's show. It was more in line with Simpsons. Came on in the evening it was an adult cartoon didn't need a remake.

Just reair the original episodes.
