That cat probably came from an abusive kitty mill that profited from the sale.
Maybe. But this time, the cat mill saved a life, so I can forgive this.
The local pet store has a placement programme with the SPCA. The customer pays the adoption and like 10% goes to the store for the space and paperwork. Animals rotate back soon to prevent stress. I can't see a better way to do a better partnership.
