Ugh… the house is a mess and it’s hard to move.
Repair rambles
The embroidery thread I ordered off eBay was the wrong colour (that’s on me for going off memory) so I split some grey yarn I already had. Still a little thick so it might have to be done again if the individual strands are strong enough.I found an old waistband from a pair of trackies I altered years ago but ultimately got rid of because they were far too low rise. They might do but the colour doesn’t match. I’m aware trackies aren’t a highbrow style but I want them to be presentable.
If it wasn’t for cost of fabric and the work I’d almost sew my own.
I wonder if my old sewing machine even works anymore.
