I don't want to hear anything bad about Tony Hart, Johnny Morris, Johnny Ball, or Brian Cant. Oh, or John Noakes. All the others are a bit sus though.

A quick wikipediaing suggests climate change denial which is disappointing but I can live with it. Plus something about Strictly and accusing a dancer of faking an injury. Is that it?

It's mainly the climate change denial that annoys me as a lot of kids got their love of science and maths from him. However, I find the complaining about CRB checks to be a concern - I can't see any reason why he'd object to them.

The main pain with CRB checks is having to go through it for every thing. You can't just apply once and get the certificate and I don't think the organisation your applying from makes a material difference to the checks that are done.
