It would not surprise me in the LEAST to see her starve herself skinny again because she thinks she has this opportunity to be a real, famous model. Considering her top, number one, all-around lifetime goals involve her looks and being celebrated for them, I wouldn't bat an eye if she said hello again to the disordered, dysfunctional relationship she apparently had with food (and never treated).
She can starve herself but she’s never going to have a young body again and the extra skin needs to be surgically removed. She’ll have to go into hiding for a while
she’s never going to have a young body again
Don't do us like this 😭
100% she's already on that mission.
Who is this lady and why is this sub one of the most active in the fediverse?
Ok I’m glad someone said this. All of the sudden this place popped up in my ‘all’ feed with all of these new accounts posting like crazy. I have no idea who this person is or why people are angry but it sure is an active place!
Edit to say, I’ve read the sidebar, I’m more confused as to how a whole active community seemed to have appeared from nowhere on here. Did it just migrate from Reddit or something?
Yes it did migrate from Reddit.
I see the updated sidebar message now, not sure who did it but thanks for the explanation! Welcome to Lemmy and always happy to have a bunch of active users! I hope you find some other interesting communities on here.
Thank you 🙂
Just odd behaviour when your family and HUSBAND is in the next room.
These jeans are really hanging low too. Is she buying bigger sizes to appear like she’s losing weight? She’s playing with my mind.
It’s so odd! My husband would be so annoyed with me if I was this vapid and self absorbed.
Same. My fiancé pokes fun at me when I take a couple selfies (Sarah takes more in a day than I do in a year lol), I couldn’t imagine how he’d feel if I was doing what she does and posting it all. Clearly she isn’t getting his attention though.
I’m wondering if they may not belong to her. The kids are wearing longer denim shorts in a bigger size than they wear and then they belt it
Bet they're Shanes lol
Good point. Whoever knows with this woman. She plays with my mind with her different sizes every single day, shorts hanging off her today, yesterday her shorts are riding up her so hard. She’s so confusing.
I was going to mention that! The whole point of this photo was just to show us all how big the waist on her shorts is.
OoTL: who is this?
I too was OotL. From the channel sidebar:
The woman we're discussing is a body positive influencer and media personality who has gained fame and wealth by lying, manipulating, exploiting her children for content, plagiarizing BIPOC creators and blaming her BIPOC content editor for it (thereby ruining her career), among other things. Her fraudulent behavior is no different argue worse) from the likes of Jay Shetty (google him if you don't know who he is or what he did). She's the latest in a long line of grifting influencers who are abusing their power, taking advantage of their position and exploiting their followers. The difference is that she's Canadian. Our laws around social media and advertising aren't as clear (and where they are she's disobeyed them), add to that, our mainstream media has protected her from those who've tried to expose her grift and silenced/intimidated anyone who's tried to speak out.
Oh okay. TLDR: you don't want to know, hah.
She claims to be “body positive” which is a movement that encourages inclusivity of all shapes and sizes. But one of the things we are most outraged about is her use of face and body slimming filters. Often you can see the filters glitch. And she appears very very different in other peoples images of her. Her nose changes more often than my teenage daughter’s moods.
She is a contradiction. Her behavior underscores unhealthy body issues, not body positivity. So it fucjs with women/people who are working on self acceptance.
We definitely understand we’re not for everyone! I think this community shows up on the main feed more as Lemmy is less active than Reddit. On Reddit we had 6K members but that’s not that much for Reddit.
Oh I was just playing. Your community is fine. I was making fun of the fact that you really didn't want to know who she is.
Haha, fair enough! It’s one of those things you wish you never learned 😅.

Hello new Lemmy friends!
Word on the street tells us our community is regularly making it the all page. While this is very cool news to hear, we can see how the sudden emergence of our posts in your feed might feel jarring and probably raises some questions. And also how, without knowing the backstory, our community might appear less than virtuous, so here’s a very brief introduction which hopefully will clear a few things up.
The woman we’re discussing is a body positive influencer and media personality who has gained fame and wealth by lying, manipulating, exploiting her children for content, plagiarizing BIPOC creators and blaming her BIPOC content editor for it (thereby ruining her career), among other things. Her fraudulent behavior is no different (I’d argue worse) from the likes of Jay Shetty (google him if you don’t know who he is or what he did). She’s the latest in a long line of grifting influencers who are abusing their power, taking advantage of their position and exploiting their followers. The difference is that she’s Canadian. Our laws around social media and advertising aren’t as clear (and where they are she’s disobeyed them), add to that, our mainstream media has protected her from those who’ve tried to expose her grift and silenced/intimidated anyone who’s tried to speak out.
Our Reddit sub was taken down due to reports of copyright infringement, which is unfounded and categorically untrue as no one ever tried to steal her work and pass it off as their own. The mods have made an appeal. While at first glance it may seem like we’re just “shitting on her” the sub has been more devoted to investigation and posting proof of her lies than just bitching for the sake of bitching. The reality is that she’s hurt, manipulated and let down a lot of people. She stole intellectual property and employment, caused mental distress and has repeatedly told lies to boost engagement and profit off her audience, so people are understandably upset that their voices are being silenced.
We’re grateful to have been welcomed so kindly by so many of you, and to those sticking around to watch the drama unfold, we’re glad to have you!
