How bad was it that it was unanimous? Well, even if it weren’t bad they should still unionize, but wow unanimous? Nice!
I don't know about current conditions but I remember reading years ago about how VFX companies are in a perpetual cycle where they work their employees to the bone, cut every corner they can, then close up shop once everyone is burned out and quitting. They basically just declare bankruptcy and shut down, then spin up a new company and start over, and repeat. No chance for employees to build up job security, benefits, seniority, etc.
That sounds terrible
Not sure about the conditions, but pretty much every other job function in the film industry is unionized under IATSE already, so it'd kinda be silly not to at this point especially given that the writers and actors are already currently on strike.
This just in, Disney fired everyone at Marvel VFX. Out of a canon. Into the sun.
Only they couldn't find anyone to make the cannon go boom as they were all in the Union.
They used the Infinity Mouse and snapped 100% of them out of the building.
They used VFX to destroy the VFX
Isn't this old news? Thought they decided to join like a month ago
I thought we all were family?!
Wage slaves biting that giving hand!
