Making fun of horrible people’s looks is still bad. But. I really don’t care, do u?

[-] nightwatch_admin@feddit.nl 18 points 3 months ago

Well, this was her own doing. I don’t make fun of people’s original looks but pumping everything full of silly putty and overstretching your skin hoping to look like you’re 18 or something?

[-] homesweethomeMrL@lemmy.world 11 points 3 months ago

To be fair she snorts a ton of coke. I hear that’s a helluva drug.

[-] TransplantedSconie@lemm.ee 7 points 3 months ago

She probably has to beat Jr. away with a stick to get some. THAT dude is using hard.

[-] frog_brawler@lemmy.world 27 points 3 months ago

Am I in a good place if I don’t know who this is?

Well the caption says Orc, so I have no reason not to believe that.

[-] WatDabney@sopuli.xyz 20 points 3 months ago

Well yeah - that too.

Beyond that though, her eyes genuinely creep me out.

It's a fairly common literary trope, but I honestly don't think I've ever seen such blatant malice and unmitigated evil in an actual person's eyes before.

The resemblance is uncanny.

“I’m nothing like those nasty reactionaries who treat women like objects and judge them only by their looks”

[-] dylanmorgan@slrpnk.net 9 points 3 months ago

Kudos to Kimberly Guilfoyle on bucking the trend of high-profile fascist women being generically attractive and going with a very specific form of unattractive.

Used saddlebags aren't inherently evil and they've never faced Donny's Jr.

"Rode hard and put away wet."

Not as dirty as it sounds.

Garr blarble murg blech morbarh.

Sorry, I just typed what I heard in the orc voice in my head.

[-] some_guy@lemmy.sdf.org 1 points 3 months ago

Such a hateful expression.

[-] JimSamtanko@lemm.ee 1 points 3 months ago

What the fuck is that?

[-] harrys_balzac@lemmy.dbzer0.com 0 points 3 months ago

Could you please mark this "NSFH"? Not Safe for Humanity. I thought the pics of Gaetz were gonna give me nightmares.

Geez, did they get these done in the back of a van? I mean, Gaetz is from Florida, so that's completely possible.

[-] xantoxis@lemmy.world 0 points 3 months ago

Oh look, it's plain old misogyny masquerading as political commentary

[-] Hux@lemmy.ml 22 points 3 months ago

I don’t think it is purely just “traditionally feminine” cosmetic choices driving this commentary—it is the elective injections and surgical procedures targeted at altering appearance, which I would say Matt Gaetz is getting equal, critical attention for as well.

He looks like a mix of Jack Nicholson and Butthead.

[-] barsquid@lemmy.world 7 points 3 months ago

It's so weird seeing him look like the villain in a 3D animated movie while knowing that he is a child-trafficking pedophile.

[-] TransplantedSconie@lemm.ee 17 points 3 months ago

Nah. She's just an evil cunt.

[-] ShadowRam@fedia.io 14 points 3 months ago

nah, we all make fun of the men's looks in the GOP just as much.

And really the only reason is because it's conservatives the hold such weird beauty standards to begin with.

It's more about pointing out their own hypocrisy than it is making fun of them

[-] DessertStorms@lemmy.blahaj.zone 3 points 3 months ago

Yeah, this is counterproductive and plain lazy bullshit, as if there isn't enough to legitimately criticise her for.. 🙄

[-] frog_brawler@lemmy.world 1 points 3 months ago* (last edited 3 months ago)

Can you explain how insinuating that someone is ugly = misogyny? I’d argue that you’re the one equating the relevancy of physical appearance to gender by labeling this as misogyny.
