Some instances are affected and some are not. Try to switch between them to find a working one.

I think they're all having trouble, but patches are coming out that fix things at least for Newpipe.

Mine stopped working again today, but some of them like tubemae work fine, so I think it's what you said, lot going on, they're working on patches.
