Not a fan of getting punted off Lemmy so easily! Last two times was because I tried to expand an image in front of a post.

Once forced to an outside URL I have to browser back to Lemmy, log back into Lemmy, then I've lost my place in my feed and interest in whatever it was I was just chasing.

Oh yeah, I think it was RES for Reddit that supported opening links to new tabs. So much easier than middle clicking on links (because I often forget and end up closing the tab).

Don't even need RES, it's a reddit feature. I'd love this on lemmy.

Thank you! I tried to search while posting, but kept timing out. Honestly surprised to see this landed because I never did officially get past the spinner after trying to submit it
