Are you implying that 2 years ago, that was the only lemmy instance. Or was it only that lemmy instance (and maybe others that went down due to being hosted in the same location) that went down?

I had a server lost in that fire. Luckily I had a full cloud backup. Watching some businesses freak out about losing their data was crazy.

I work in a data centre, and when the details of that fire came out we were flabbergasted how recklessy they had built that thing.
