I love how the comic doesn't indicate who's talking, but it is totally obvious which one of them gives directions that make no fucking sense.

In my head, the notch in the bishop looks like his mouth is wide open

[–] BossDj@lemm.ee 7 points 2 years ago

He looks like an upset Peanuts character

[–] expatriado@lemmy.world 6 points 2 years ago

this is no time to gargle, Bishop

[–] lugal@lemmy.ml 10 points 2 years ago (1 children)

It's obvious how it's intended but actually works both ways. One person's normal is crazy for the other.

[–] Ithi@lemmy.ca 2 points 2 years ago

Yeah I was going to say that's what I liked most about it but then I read the comments and saw all the signs pointing to the bishop being the one talking.

The wine glasses signal this as well, great comic

It also takes advantage of the bishop’s funny shape. The visor works as a mouth.

[–] Ubermeisters@lemmy.zip 2 points 2 years ago

The slice out of the tip is a visor? I always figured it was indicative of the virtual lobotomy religious people put themselves through in order to justify their mental circus hoops.

Should be "your directions were impossible to follow."

[–] Holodeck_Moriarty@lemm.ee 7 points 2 years ago

It was a straight shot, why do we keep turning?

[–] MonkCanatella@sh.itjust.works 1 points 2 years ago

you ever try to checkmate with just a bishop and a knight? It's torture!

[–] phoneymouse@lemmy.world 0 points 2 years ago (1 children)

Who follows directions anymore?

[–] Rootiest@lemm.ee 3 points 2 years ago

Who even asks for/offers them?

"First get on I-91. Then take exit 200.. ”

" I'm gonna stop you right there. I know how to use a gps. "
