Really enjoyed these games when they came out. Recently replayed the first two on the Switch they really hold up well.

I played it for the first time last year and it didn't really grab me. I get that it was pretty revolutionary at the time, the plot is interesting and the atmosphere is great, but there was a bit too much walk here, fetch this, walk there, kill some grunts on the way to keep me interested.

Yeah I feel that. I think my opinion is that it's fun to play, but it's not, like, a technical marvel or brilliantly written or anything. I liked the aesthetic and the sort of dark campy tone everything had, but I agree that it gets kinda repetitive. Which is why I'm glad they kept it short

I am wondering if I should play the remastered version, since I have seen that there are a lot of bugs :/
