Yeah, with my islander mates. It was fun and mild. There's a bit of a ceremony thing we did which was fun but probably unnecessary. Having the nitrous wear off and feeling not returning to head was novel. I rolled the lads a joint with a scrap of dmt in it so we got nice sparkles too. Good times at bush doofs.
Itās Trust Fall Fursday!
You canāt make me, Iām on leave šŗ
But first..the mandatory 2hour OHS safety briefing with 150slide PowerPoint presentation
Opened the front door to let some air in.
Neighbours across the way have done likewise.
Discovered Sammi and their cat having a stare at each other through our respective security doors. š
I've got a couple of weeks off coming up and am starting to make plans. Hopefully I can get a bit more stuff sorted to sell. I'm down to bigger and more difficult stuff to sort out - heavyweight camping gear, tools & random shed stuff, and some outdoor cupboards. Once that's gone I am pretty much decluttered and just down to maintenance work to make sure the clutter level stays low. Feels pretty good to have space to move.
I also need to do a bit or gardening, hopefully the weather will cooperate.
My brain is no longer braining correctly. If the universe could stop giving me work for a couple of hours that would be great.
Bummer
Feeling stressed out. The issue of this homeless guy isnāt solved - the services wonāt help or come when heās there, he refuses help, police donāt care because itās āpublic propertyā or if they do he just walks away from a welfare checkā¦
Heās ranting and raving and throwing lit cigarettes in an area of dried vegetation and wooden fences near houses. Really mentally unwell with violent outbursts and has aggressively harassed me before. And is now regularly drinking on the bench right outside the window of the room where I sleep - sometimes sleeping there.
He ignored the huge piece of cardboard I left that would have allowed him to sleep elsewhere, isnāt moving to a nearby abandoned flat with a sheltered porch, and it isnāt safe to give him anything.
He doesnāt want help, has possibly already been kicked out of a nearby halfway house for verbally and possibly physically abusing others, and Iām afraid heās going to start a fire or might attack me. It isnāt safe to approach him to help or direct him elsewhere.
It goes against my morals but if I canāt do anything positive about this situation Iām probably going to have to start thinking of ways to repel him :(
Mmm yummy.
I hate that I have to think about this stuff. I really just want to live peacefully and be left alone
this guy is a psychopath and is creating nuisance on purpose , don't feel guilty
i think the itching powder will be good
and it's just a joke and perfectly legal and safe
unlike a lot of other things š¹
Anyone watching the Deeming v Pesutto defo trial?
Impressions
Deeming comes across as an indignant dumbass, and I can't help but believe Pesutto, Southwick and Crozier's view that she was not remorseful or willing to do what she needed to do to unfuck things after the nazi-adjacent rally. Deeming did not seem to understand she does have certain obligations to step in line behind the Liberal brand and focus on issues that might have a reasonable chance of winning seats in an election.
Pesutto was not threatening her when he said an option was that she could resign from the party to prosecute her views -- instead of ultimately being expelled for bringing legal action against him.
Deeming plays a victim, claims she was powerless and limp, suggests she has no idea how to write a press release and claims she was subject to bullying or being railroaded by the Liberal leadership team. Simply did not occur that way in my opinion. She dominates the meetings that were recorded, routinely talks over colleagues and plays ignorant about the issue at hand.
She's a moron.
Time to season some chicken drumsticks to eat for dinner.
Ohh I canāt wait!
