Lemmy.ca is now running on 0.18.3!

Sorry about the downtime there, the kernel decided to panic on the initial docker upgrade, then it took a few minutes for the new DB updates to happen after the upgrade.

That was fast. Thanks for your work.

a change to the way federation activities are stored, which reduces database size by around 80%.

That seems good.

Yeah our DB dropped from about 35gb to 8gb!

Might only be temporary, I think server restarts result in rank recaclculations. Fingers crossed, but it might not mean anything this soon after a restart

Does Lemmy offer up some form of HA or can this be cobbled together?

[-] Shadow@lemmy.ca 3 points 1 year ago

Wouldn't be hard to cobble together, but it's hard to justify the price when the hardware reqs are really minimal.

The "Show Context" link doesn't work. This comment is a reply to one of mine but when I click "Show Context" nothing happens.

Yeah I discovered that too. Already been reported here - https://github.com/LemmyNet/lemmy-ui/issues/1999

I'm not seeing the option for "Add infinite scroll user option (#3572)".

Anyone else? I was looking forward to this.
