Fun fact: Chaplin had to finance the film himself, because nobody in the US film industry wanted to fund it in order to not anger the Nazis and potentially lose the lucrative German market.

Captain America #1 showed Cap punching Hitler. It came out before Pearl Harbor, and the artist, Jack Kirby, was threatened by local Nazi sympathizers.
