That makes sense, I mean who can live to afford in Los Angeles or the Bay Area now even if they wanted to?

Here's where despite all the setbacks and decades without discernable progress, CA high speed rail is forward thinking for those central counties between Bakersfield and Merced that are growing the most rapidly. If they hadn't started now while those towns are still on the smaller side, the cost would be exponentially higher.
