If you think voter suppression started with the orange man, then I got some news for you. We have a law (Voting Rights Act) that SCOTUS undermined that specifically deals with ratfuckery in the south because they were so fucking prolific with it. And, lo and behold, the law was fucked with and now there's prolific ratfuckery again.
I don't think fuckery started with the orange-bad. I think he broke so many social norms that his party will do just about anything in the open when they previously felt the need to be less obvious about it. Like being openly fascist. That was a quiet thing a decade ago.
His puppet masters aren't going away.
