Why?
The AM4 plattform is still a very good plattform, with many years of service left.
I would not be surprised if these CPUs end up in enterprise machines, or as new chips for the large market of used components, I mean AMD has a massive market of AM4 motherboards after selling them for almost a decade.
I could aslo see them selling very well outside the western hemisphere, as cheaper but still very capable CPUs.
