Summary

The CDC now recommends a second dose of the 2024-25 Covid vaccine for high-risk groups, including those over 65 and with weakened immune systems, six months after their first dose.

Experts, such as Dr. Ashish Jha and immunologists Akiko Iwasaki and E. John Wherry, support this guidance, highlighting that while the mRNA vaccines from Pfizer and Moderna are effective, the virus’s rapid mutation and year-round presence necessitate more frequent boosters for at-risk populations.

Good luck if trump wins, there will be no more vaccines.

They should ban headache pills for maga people so that at least they get some direct result from all this crap.

What about that for a conspiracy? Aspirin is giving your sperm less viability, ibuprofen makes you lust a mans penis and paracetamol makes your wife dislike your smell.

No need, his surrogates are way ahead and banning them locally already! The party of "small government" is now adding a level to telling you what kind of health care you can receive, in addition to its standard patriarchal views on women's medical access and independence.

I don't think he'll ban them

That requires actual work

Don't forget that Trump says things simply to get votes, but he'll spend his time only doing things that benefit him and playing golf

Banning vaccines won't benefit him if he manages to rebalance the government to effectively turn it into a dictatorship. More golf time does

sigh Okay, yes, people-at-risk should get spring as well as autumn vaccines - but I would argue the everyone is at risk and should be getting regular vaccinations (long covid is very debilitating!).

However, I'm mostly here to say that people who are moderately-to-severely immunocompromised should see if they can get Pemgarda, a pre-exposure prophylaxis infusion that also reduces your risk of getting covid by 70%.
