Poisoned, in fact. Guess by whom.

I don't doubt it, but was it ever demonstrated or acknowledged?

Inconclusive, but...

To their surprise, the researchers found polonium-2101. A piece of Arafat’s underwear stained with urine had a radioactivity of 181 millibecquerels, almost 100 times higher than normal background levels (see ‘Was Yasser Arafat killed by polonium?’). This prompted a French murder investigation, and his body was exhumed on 27 November 2012. Investigators took samples from his bones, burial shroud and the soil from around the grave.

Interesting thank you. I dont remember much of the events, but I do remember coming to the conclusion that he probably had been murdered. That was an opinion, not based on evidences of any kind, just that the way it was handled also felt like his death was part of some kind of political deal.

Fuck the ignorant radicals on both sides that stifled the camp David agreements. There was a faint slither of hope for peace in the middle east for a short while in the late nineties.

It's was a beautiful hope that's crushed into a big black blob of anguish, despair and suffering for everyone in the region.

Insufferable bastards.
